Gerling-Mut Duo is a classical violin and piano duo. Violinist Ingrid Gerling and pianist Andrea Mut have performed extensively as soloists, recitalists and chamber musicians through the United States, South America, Europe, and Asia. Their exquisite and fresh style is the result of their delicate approach to melody and line, and their mutual passion for balance, unforced sounds, style, and precision of technique.

Bob Chadwick is a classically-trained professional flutist and musician, who performs and records jazz and original world music. Rounding out his Jazz Trio are Ray Wilson on guitar and Andrew Gordon on bass.

Melvin Johnson is an acclaimed and diversified musician, arranger and composer with a passionate and energetic drive. His array of experiences reaches across multiple genres of music. Melvin plays many instruments including trumpet and percussion, but piano is without a doubt his prime passion.  He is renowned for his sensitive touch, insightful playing and his technical command when approaching the piano. Melvin’s expressive playing and extraordinary musicianship has led him to perform at many important concerts and venues abroad. Melvin is the winner of many prestigious competitions including, Gulf Coast International Jazz Festival – Best Rhythm Section Musician and Most-Outstanding Musician, as well as; Texas Music Educators Association All-State 1st Chair Jazz Pianist.

He has participated in master classes with some of the best in the industry.  Melvin inspires with his open-hearted, emotional playing, whether it be in intimate recitals or on the grandest of stages.

Cuban-born violinist Rainel Joubert has performed with the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, and the Opera and Ballet Orchestras of Havana. Rainel has performed in important halls such as New World Center, Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall, and has played with renowned international orchestra conductors. He was one of the four finalists of the 15th Annual Sphinx Competition, won First Prize in the Concerto Competition of the University of Southern Mississippi, and Second Prize in the Violin Competition and Best Interpretation of Cuban Music at the 2006 Cuban Artists and Writers Union.

Rainel holds a master’s Degree in Music Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi and actively participates in music community engagement activities.
